Program Description:

This Sound Design program includes courses to understand the visual and narrative aspects of these visual mediums, to discover and complete the end to end workflow of Sound Design and master the production processes of sound design with learned skills such as advanced recording techniques for sound effects and dialog, creative synthesis techniques, advanced digital sound processing. The Sound Design program provides courses on the post-production processes and skills of interactive audio integration for gaming, A/V synchronization, music licensing, placement and editing, and mixing and mastering your sound design creations.

There’s high demand for professional sound designers in film, television, radio and gaming industries. They want their media products to be more unique and appealing, and today's sound designers must be knowledgeable in all aspects of sound design and its increasingly vital role in the industry.

Using the most powerful and industry-standard software such as Nuendo, CUBASE, Pro Tools, WaveLab, Kontakt, Reason, and Reaktor, and Flash combined with hands-on training, students will gain the highest level of expertise and practical information while building a professional portfolio of completed projects ready for industry exposure.
